Why churches use it
-
The story is free
A Bible story told warmly for children, published as a free podcast, with a short "wondering question" at the end. Play it in your session or send families the link.
-
The lesson is ready
Each week's leader guide has aims, background notes, a 45-minute session plan and discussion questions for ages 5–7 and 8–11.
-
Print what you need
Activity sheets you can print for every child in your groups. One church licence covers all of your leaders.
How it works
- Listen. Play the week's audio story (from the free podcast) to your group, or read the script aloud.
- Wonder and talk. Use the wondering question and the discussion questions for your age group.
- Do. Choose a game or the activity sheet, then pray together using the prayer in the guide.

Questions church leaders ask
What does the church licence cover?
One licence covers one church: one congregation, meeting in one place. It includes all of that church's children's groups, such as Sunday school, midweek clubs and holiday clubs it runs.
You can:
- share the leader guides with your own leaders
- print as many activity sheets as you need for the children in your groups
- send activity sheets home with those children
You can't sell the materials, share them with other churches, or post them publicly online. If your church meets in several places or has several congregations, please buy one licence for each, or email us and we'll help.
Can we use the family edition in church?
No. The family edition is for use at home with your own family. For a church or any other group, please buy the church term pack.
Is the audio story really free?
Yes. The weekly audio story is a free podcast that anyone can listen to. You pay for the leader guides, activity sheets and the licence to use them with your group.
How do you use AI?
Episodes are created and narrated with AI. Some episodes publish automatically. After publishing, the BrightPath team checks every episode for quality and child safety.
The voices you hear are AI voices, not real people. Each story is a retelling for children, and every lesson lists the Bible references so you can read the passage in your church's own translation. Please use the stories alongside the Bible itself.
What about safeguarding?
Your church's own safeguarding policy always comes first. Each lesson includes a safeguarding note that flags sensitive themes in the story (for example, grief or moving to a new country), with tips for handling them gently and a reminder of what to do if a child tells you something worrying.
We never ask for children's names, photos or voices, and we don't need any information about the children in your groups. To buy, we only need the buyer's details.
In the UK, the Christian safeguarding charity Thirtyone:eight runs a helpline for churches on 0303 003 1111.
Can we get a refund? What are our cancellation rights?
Your 14 days to change your mind. Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, if you buy online as a consumer, you normally have 14 days from the day you buy to cancel and get a full refund.
Downloading straight away. Because the packs are digital downloads, at checkout we'll ask if you want access straight away. If you tick the box to agree to immediate access and to confirm you understand that you'll lose your right to cancel, you can't then cancel once the download has started. We'll confirm this in your order email. The box is never ticked for you.
Pre-orders. If you pre-order (for example, the Spring Term 2027 pack), you can cancel for a full refund at any time within 14 days of ordering, as long as you haven't started downloading the files.
Something wrong with a file? If a download is faulty or isn't as described, tell us. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, we'll fix or replace it, and if we can't, you can get some or all of your money back. This doesn't affect your other legal rights.
We apply the same terms to churches buying for their groups. To cancel or ask for a refund, email hello@brightpathaudio.com with your order details.
Can churches outside the UK buy?
Yes. Prices are in pounds sterling (GBP). Your bank or card provider may convert the price into your currency and may charge a fee for this.
How do we get the files?
When you buy, you'll get a link by email to download your pack. For a pre-order, we'll email the link when the pack is ready. The free sample lesson is on this page: there's nothing to buy.
